This was their one title fight together. I was reading up on it the other day, and saw the scorecards. The first judge has it pretty close with Charles winning by 6 points, and the other two each have Charles ahead 20 points. What's up?!!!! Those numbers are far too different. One of those parties had to be partial, either to Maxim, or Charles, cuz that just isn't going to work. Maybe one judge felt sorry for how badly Maxim was losing. lol

The errant card was actually from the referee. It was a disgrace. Charles had him in all sorts of trouble in the last two rounds but couldn't finish him off despite landing some big blows. Charles miles too good.

Incredibly boring fight. Maxim was more tired than in trouble in the later rounds.

The two scores does not have to be out of line. With the "Sharing 10 points each round" a winning round would be 6-4 and a big round 7-3. Give Charles a few big rounds and the score could be wide.
And old saying is that if the referee is disagreeing with the two ringside judges, the referee is mostly right. Honestly I don“t buy it.
