No, Charles wasn't a true heavyweight so he'd drop one of these fights

At his heavyweight best, he's a clear favourite over all of them.

Charles vs Young is a boxing chess match I didn't know I needed in my life.

Chuvalo was no Marciano and Charles performed excellently against a prime Marciano while he himself was considerably best his best. Chuvalo was too crude and one-dimensional for Charles even if he does have the size advantage.

Theoretically yes. He COULD go undefeated against that list.

Who would be most likely to derail the Charles express train?

Quarry and Ellis are scary foes in Ezzard's path, though he should be able to beat them both.

Jimmy could be pretty elusive and hard to hit flush. He was a real spoiler. Not sure how many guys like that Ezzard faced if any

I’d pick him over all of them, in a real life scenario he probably drops a decision to one of them.

At his absolute best, Ellis and Young probably have the best chance against him stylistically, I can’t see Quarry doing anything with him, he’d get outboxed as he relies on countering and certainly can’t outbox Charles, he’d also can’t effectively pressure, Bonavena and Chuvalo would at least be able to go for it a bit, but I feel Charles counters them and walks them onto combinations.
