8 Years? Try 1. And in your useless ramble beyond this makes it quite obvious you start to realize that the Louis against Marciano was in far better condition and preparation. He came off from more than 2 years from the Walcott fight under prepared, and not in great condition. It is clear that he was in much better preparation for the Marciano fight and had much less ring rust since he had many fights preceding it. And lastly, on film he looks much better in the Marciano fight. It's said before the Charles fight that he said in his dressing room that he wasn't ready and needed more time to prepare. Against Marciano in reports he told the press he was confidence in being able to stop Marciano.

The Walcott victories for Charles are much more impressive in my book. Unless you give a good deal of credit to Marciano for beating arguably the greatest HW of all time. Nobody likes double standards.

Buzzard Charles was great, but he really was a friggin' light-heavyweight............... I cannot see Charles doing well with the post '60 heavies who started to get bigger and stronger and more ferocious...... Charles would be in trouble with dudes like "Ali, Liston & Frazier." The top-5 from the classic 70s era would probably kill him........ Still, between 175 to 190 pounds, yes, Charles is a top-3 type of dude........... Cheers.....

Right, I noticed sarcasm covering up your lack of point. ****ing idiot actually arguing Louis was better in 1950 against Charles than 51 against Marciano. Do you like just being a tool?
