Oh **** now that you mention it he should really swap monikers with Solomon.

Brad has the "Chia pet (aka Adrien Broner)" haircut, and Francisco likes to buzzzzzzz!

    Round 1 Santana 10-9
    Round 2 Santana 10-9
    Round 3 Santana 10-9
    Round 4 Diaz 10-9
    Round 5 Diaz 10-9
    Round 6 Santana 10-9

That maybe should have been a 10-8, Diaz was held up by the ropes at the end.

    Round 6

Díaz is knocking the arms of Santana to one side with either his jab or left and scoring with the other. Santana isn't discouraged, however, by all the flush counters he's eating and keeps barking and dropping in 1-2s. Díaz is a bit nonplussed by the resurgence, finding no shelter anywhere in the ring, sitting on the ropes and getting caught with a couple of right hands that spin his face around, even seeming to cause him to wince in pain.

    10-9 Santana

    58-56 Santana

If I knew Diaz ballooned up to 185 pounds between fights before hand I might of had a bet on Santana!

Holy ****, just realized they could end up being semifinal opponents. VERY realistic chance of that happening unless Díaz finds a solution in the next few rounds..

Yes they were very aesthetically pleasing on the eye. There was nothing wrong with Lawson's but I'm afraid if he wanted to outdo Nasiyiwula in that regard he should've put a little more effort in. It is what it is.

    Round 7

Díaz is throwing big roundhouse lefts from the rear hip, attempting to decapitate Santana on the way in. Santana is applying intelligent pressure, however, pumping the brakes when he needs to and flurrying his way in and out. Díaz finally connects on a big left hand while Santana was shifting his feet & off-balance, and he is stunned. Díaz follows up with some more lefts, whipping right hooks into the body for good measure. Santana is turning his shoulders in, smothering, throwing some body slaps. Big chopping right by Santana.

    10-9 Díaz

    67-66 Santana

This may be the single longest broadcast of an American card I can recall in recent memory. We usually only get this from UK cards. Kinda nice to put one stream on and have the TV handled for the best 5 hours

    Round 8

Díaz is feigning a left hand lead on the body and Santana is smacking him with a long left hook from outside. Body shot combo from Santana pressing Díaz against the ropes. Díaz goes down, slip. Santana lands a right hand across the upper skull. Díaz now doing lots of holding. Díaz is getting ripped with left hooks on the liver and lashing rights up top. Díaz spending most of the round sitting on the ropes. Díaz tries lathering up a furious combination exchange to get off the ropes but gets the worst of it, not quite finding the mark as easily as before, mouth hanging open to breathe. Santana popping extra-long flurries straight into Díaz's face.

    10-9 Santana

    77-75 Santana
