    Alvarado-Gutierrez
    9 : 10
    9 : 10

Good counters from Guiterrez. Nice 1-2 and uppercuts. Alvarado is pressuring and looking for his overhand, neglecting to jab. His left hook was quite wild too, but it looked nasty should it had landed more. Another close-un.

2-0 for the Venezuelan, but I'm rooting for the ugly twin.

I like that Gutierrez is looking poised when under fire here and looks to pick his spots & counter rather than just covering up like he did in the 1st fight but he is giving up ground way too easily here against a smaller fighter instead of being more assertive

    Round 2

Gutiérrez backing up, pushing out long jabs into the face of the oncoming Alvarado, then looping rights in above the hip - a bit lackadaisically, and not turned over very hard. Alvarado is having trouble getting inside but teeing off when he does. Gutiérrez timing him with counters and snapping Alvarado's head back on a regular basis. Undeterred, the champ rushes on, but looking shaky at times.

    10-9 Gutiérrez

    19-19

    Round 1 Alvarado 10-9
    Round 2 Alvarado 10-9
    Round 3 Gutierrez 10-7

Uppercut drops Rene Rene early, Roger leaps back on him, drops him again with a hook. He's going for the kill. Then he punches himself out, Rene comes storming back and rocks Roger several times, including knocking out his mouthpiece.
