    Alvarado still not exercising much caution in his application of pressure. Gutiérrez bombs him with a long right cross. Alvarado despite wobbling slightly continues to hurtle bodily in toward Gutiérrez from the outside, flinging both arms in wide arcs hoping to land on a wing & prayer. Gutiérrez counters with another right and down goes Alvarado, flailing akimbo into the ropes! He beats the count and sells out even harder looking to even the score with a KD of his own if not a KO. Gutiérrez is whipping him with overhands to his nape and uppercuts on the jaw, casually sliding his feet back to give himself room to get off. Alvarado does manage to get a few of his own heavy rights in giving chase, but...he took by far the brunt of the harm this round, even notwithstanding it being 10-7.

    That 2nd kd benefited Alvarado imo as he was more off balance than anything else & it gave him some additional recovery time
