Even when I agree with what Mannix and Mora say I still wish they'd shut up

    Round 1 Alvarado 10-9
    Round 2 Alvarado 10-9
    Round 3 Gutierrez 10-7
    Round 4 Alvarado 10-9

A lot more cagey work from Rene, who's not rushing in, and picking his shots well, landing clubbing overhands to teh temple as Roger pulls out.

Steady pressure from Alvarado. Great comeback considering the third. I liked his uppercuts on the inside. The grappling was reminding - I know it's heresey - of Roberto Duran.

The three knockdown rule is in effect?

the commentary said another knockdown and the fight would have been over

Guiterezz needs a second wind or he is feked.

    Round 4

Gutiérrez is getting belted even from afar, as Alvarado canters in and rolls up bombs with his rotator cuff working overtime. Gutiérrez is lining up 1-2s as best he can on the backfoot under fire but looking a bit disheveled in his work, having a little difficulty walking and chewing gum at the same time (offense & defense).

    10-9 Alvarado, close

    38-36 Gutiérrez

The intensity Alvarado brings is remarkable especially given he was almost knocked out just a couple minutes ago
