Last round knock down was the Big game changer.

I had it 113-112 Gutierrez.. Alvarado made like a champ to get up off the mat and take control of the fight, but that double KD in round 3 was a killer.

A draw or 113-112 the other way works as well, as at least two of those rounds were coin flips.

    A rubber match is needed.

Also the WBA belt is indeed cursed.

Uchiyama lost to a lesser fighter in Corrales.
Corrales lost to Machado (Machado not being anything special).
Machado getting stomped twice by Cancio.
Alvarado smaking Cancio up in the rematch.
    And now this.....

I also don't actually know for certain they're identical. Fraternal/dizygotic twins also exist, although two boys is super rare, and wouldn't have to have quite as similar (or exactly the same) DNA.

He ain't gonna be a force in no division

You could throw him in as he is at flyweight and he'd still get ****ing pummeled by Julio Cesar Martinez.

To be fair I thought Rene was done in round 3 so fairplay for not only going distance but nearly winning it

I am happy that Gutierrez won, but I think this could have easily gone to Alvarado.

He had two stellar rounds. It's seems like the judges were just being nice to Roger because of his hard luck story. Rene did the better inside work throughout, adn was blocking a ton of Roger's shots.

what were those compubox guys watching?!
I mean Gutierrez definitely had the more eye catching work but there is no way imo he outlanded or outworked Alvarado here
