    He fought on the backfoot, he was playing the countering game trying to win the fight with the style he has employed for a lot of years now, He couldnt go toe to toe with Pac he wouldl never win that way so he boxed a smart fight he lost 8-4 on my card, Any one who doubts Barreras entertainment value watch his first fight with Morales.

    Yeah those posters that hate on MAB are really stupid.

    Did they really tought that MAB will slug it out with Pac (nutjobs) :nut


    He's past his prime now, he's not the same guy that fought Hamed.

    And he knew his only chance to beat Pac was boxing, and that's what he did.

    MAB had three choices coming into this fight. Either brawl and get KO'd early, brawl at times and box and get KO'd late, or box and counter and lose a decision. There's no shame in chosing the latter option. MAB is a great fighter, but he's old and he fought a guy had the advantage in almost every category.

    I just don't understand why he went toe to toe with Marquez punching wise, but was afraid to pull the trigger against Pac.

    Protect his legacy I guess..

    A decade ago yes u ****ing arsehole when he was 26 and in his prime those wars take alot out of u would u have the balls to get in the ring with a guy who brutally tore u apart for 11 rounds?

    Nigel..quit living in the past. MAB has one helluva resume.

    Yes, I'd get in the ring with a lion for the amount MAB got paid. He really just didn't earn his money like he did when he was 26.

    His fight with Marquez was nothing less than a *******.

    He'd beat everyone in that division aside from the very elite. And he's old.

    That idiot that posted earlier today, - I have lost all respect for Barrera -, he doesn't know anything about boxing. Nor does anyone else who has come to hate or disprespect him. He's an ATG, no question.
