Before the whole Mayweather-Pacquiao nonsense, Mayweather used to use Roach’s gym whenever he was in L.A., apparently. I remember a video back when their rivalry first sparked (I think it was in the lead-up to Cotto), Roach responded to someone’s question regarding Mayweather with something like: "Floyd? I’ve not got a problem with him. He’s a good kid. He’s been to my gym before and used it when in town"
