Honestly man, I think if it took one episode of 24/7 to make you not a cotto fan, due to him explaining why he thinks Margarito cheated (**** that was obviously asked of him and what he thinks of the whole thing, its never cotto just bringing it up out of thin air, he is obviously asked about his thoughts) then not sure how much of a Cotto fan you were to begin with. Before this fight it was always 'only margarito knows if he did it or not', now hes being pressed more and more about it since its a pivotal storyline in this fight, of course hes going to be giving what he really thinks and why. Not bashing you or anything, its your choice to not be a fan of his anymore, I just dont see how you stop because of a half hour episode of 24/7 over something like percieved whining.
As for the 24/7.... thought it was one of the best ones in a long time, and ya that part about his father touched me as well.
it was sad as ****! Cotto really takes it personal, and seems to hate Tony. Brandon Rios is ****ing funny!
watched it. the red doesnt match up with the picture. unless there is red dye on the bottom of margo's glove as well? which i cant see from the footage that was shown
Can someone explain the whole 'red' thing to me please? What is it? What doea it signify and what makes it a talking point?
Great episode! It was sad to see Cotto Sr.-great boxer and clearly, him and Cotto were close Cotto KO in 6
Thing is about the RED dye on Tony's wrap's (Mosley Fight) is Margarito wore Black gloves that night. 'Da ****!! Why is there This content is protected dye on the confiscated Cali wrap's???? Just sayin' (Let the conspiracy continue)
Cotto claims that because there is red dye on the corner of the knuckles on the wraps from the end of their first fight which came from the dye of the red gloves (as often happens), and the wraps recovered from before the Mosley fight had the same red mark in the same place (without him having worn any gloves yet), along with the fact that the gauze looked "broken", that we can conclude he used the same illegal wraps on both nights. If you thought that was good, you ought so see Rome, True Blood, or The Sopranos. Nobody does TV like HBO. Unfortunately, that was my problem with the whole episode. The grieving moment was fine, if a little melodramatic. The whole Good vs Evil thing got on my nerves. It really reminded me of why I preferred the Countdown Series. Every 24/7 so far has been trying to sell something: Antonio Margarito is the Bin Laden of boxing; Pac may get beat this time because he refuses to leave the Phillipines, gambles, and cheats on his wife; Mayweather is the Saddam Hussein of boxing, ect. How dumb can you be? Watch Fox News to see what they present as factual information on Obama and Herman Cain. Then watch MSNBC. Its so damn easy to paint the picture you're looking for...Its not as if the Countdown episodes contained no hype but with just half an hour to tell their story, not much time was allocated for fabricated drama....And all those posters wishing death on Margarito should allow themselves to reach puberty before commenting on a forum.
the inside of the glove is padded, there wouldn't be any red dye on it, watch the margarito and joshua clottey fight, antonio had his knuckle skin peeled, he showed it after the fight, it seems he's been useing the same hand wraps for a couple of fights.
****...it just gets even worse for Margo, before this 24/7 I had no idea about the plaster crack or red dye in both fights either. Aint'cha meant to be on Tonys side anyway?
