Mayweather never misses an opportunity to sing loud , long praises to himself. I'd just expect someone with that much ego and self love taking on guys his own size at least. But as long as people buy into his bull**** of carefully chosen fights, he'll go on. Why shouldn't he? Why risk getting a tough fight from Williams or Mosely?

I agree 100%. Pac is far to limited for Floyd. Style wise and by the way he fights and makes adjustments JMM is going to give Floyd problems and IMO is the tougher fight.

But you specifically said that Floyd Mayweather Jr has trouble with southpaws. There is nothing in his resume that can support that notion.

Floyd Mayweather Jr has shown to be adaptable in the past, and he's equally as reliable on his reflexes as well as his Philly Shell to avoid punches. Can he be hit by the straight left? Absolutely, but I don't envision Pacquiao landing it often enough to seriously hurt or put Floyd on the canvas. The early moments in the fight will be when Pacquao gets his better work done, but Floyd will start to land his right hand lead. It's devastatingly accurate, and Marquez couldn't miss with his right hand in his two fights with Manny. A faster right hand lead coming at Manny, I see that being a bigger problem than Manny's left.

I think Oscar De La Hoya will prove to be a harder challenge than a Manny Pacquiao at 147lbs. Manny is miles better than the Oscar that he fought, the one who struggled to get down to 147lbs who had chew gum on his way to the ring. The Oscar that we all know, poses more problems for a Mayweather because he has very fast hands but is also significantly bigger than Manny Pacquiao.

I think Pacquiao will have to be the aggressor against Mayweather, and once he starts throwing his left hand and following through with his head, he'll be peppered with right hands. I think speed will be key, as both fighters are very fast, but I envision Mayweather's superior defensive capabilities keeping him from harm's way more often than not. You say Mayweather has never fought someone like Manny, but Manny has fought a smaller and slower version of Mayweather to a degree. I felt he lost both fights to this man.

Stylistically, if Juan is a bad matchup for Manny Pacquiao - Floyd is his worst nightmare.

so what ...he never fought at 135 and crushed two of the top fighters...floyd fought at 154 when he weighed 152...why should floyd hunt down cotto if cotto loses to PAC??? if he beats cotto, he is shot, if he neats mosely it is too late, mosely got old...it never ends....pac fought a DRANIED 147 lb ODLH that JMM would have beaten too....so pac is just as unproven over 140....him and jmm are the same size...it will be a good win

at 144 mosely would not murder marquez...mosely would die losing the weight and he struggled vs mayorga before he exposed margo as just a bully fighter with loaded gloves

it is hard to sit here and say any oscar could beat manny but a 158 lb oscar properly hydrated would certainly have been a better fight...what would happen if PBF and oscar fought and the night of the fight they were both 147 ...not 152 and 165....PBF would have prob stopped him or he would have looked like baldomir in there

Most of the people who are making this a big deal are Emmanuel Dapidran's fans lol... They have been posting the same answers day after day, and those answers are totally unacceptable:lol:. If JMM fought Shane, Berto, Clottey or Cotto AT 144, he'd have a chance to beat all of them...with Shane being the hardest to beat, and this isn't a prime Shane, and JMM isn't Margarito.

IMO, Floyd will ko Dapidran because Dapidran can be out boxed when turned flat footed. Morales did it, JMM did it, and even in the Barrera rematch, he turned Dapidran flat footed. If Floyd turns Dapidran flatfooted, it is possible that Floyd puts Dapidran in the hospital. Cotto might also. Cotto lacks the big right hand that you need, but he makes up for that by fighting very smart.

I wouldn't be too worried about people who are saying that JMM fighting at 144 a big deal...it's just Pac's fans not wanting Floyd to top anything PAc has done because PAc's fans are so used to convincing themselves that PAc beat Hatton and Dlh better than Floyd did lol... They forget that JMM is the #3 fighter in the world, and a very good fighter. Pac's fans see JMM as David Diaz fighting Floyd, not JMM fighting Floyd lol...

Mosely Would Have to Be last.
Pac would have to be 1st
    cotto 2nd then Williams
but No man outside of a mexican can take these grueling fights on in 1-2 years. Honestly I personally would fight only 1 of these guys per year because even if you win your still gonna get your ass kicked

No offense, but you are clearly a Dapidran nuthugger, and what people say about PAc is not even wrong most of the time, it's their opinion, and you are clearly offended at times by Pac's critic's comments.

Your talking absolute bull****, as per usual. How the hell can a fighter who absolutely schooled Pac over 11 rounds in the first fight not be as good.

I see Pac's "win" over DLH that night has got you fooled aswell, any decent 140-147 fight would have taken DLH apart that night he was an asbolute corpse. You only had to look at him to realise that wasnt the real Oscar in there.

And your point about Mayweather getting tagged by lesser fighters, well at least he hasnt been KO'd twice, knocked down by a jab, or lost 18 out of 24 rounds to his biggest rival and threat.

Pac is 1-3 against Elite Prime fighters (Barrera 1) (Morales 1, JMM 1+2)
    Pac is 0-2 against Bums

I too was fooled once, about Ricky Hatton, I really thought he had a chance in their fight but was let down. Miguel Cotto is going to do the job JMM started.
