The only judge that gave the fight to Hopkins was a woman. What the **** do woman know about boxing? seriously.
Anyone can come up with a list of pundits who gave the fight to one guy over the other, if i could be assed i'd find plenty who gave it to calzaghe.
And seriously if Calzaghe wasn't landing ****, why did B-Hop run like Usain Bolt? I wouldn't run from a bloke that can't punch ****.

Socrates it seems to me you think anyone who thinks Bhop beat Calzaghe is Dinamita? Are you that narrow minded?

according to you I hate calzaghe? because i, along with many others, thought bhop beat him?

are you on some sort of smear campaign against people who hold the opinion bhop beat joe?

:rofl:rofl:rofl give it up man- 46-0. I could if i wanted to destroy your post but il leave you alone. You sound like a nice guy. One thing though..i had to laugh at the names you brought out for hopkins (even had the cheek to bring out ODL!!!). Blown up winky at 170 wa sit??. Pavlik is a force at 160...170??? yea really impressive. And he LOST to RJJ and Taylor TWICE....i guess were left with the 'magic man' antonio tarver :rofl. Even for that many say Tarver had the weight issues. o well

Hopkins beat some good names, but when you look at his best wins and alot of those fights were against guys fighitng outside of their best weight class - Tito, Oscar at 160, Winky, Pavlik at 170. When he did challenge himself by fighting elite guys his own size, he went 1-4 (beat Tarver, lost to Jones, Calzaghe & Taylor x 2).

Hopkins should be criticised for not rematching Jones closer to their primes (when he was the one who needed for his legacy), and for pulling out of the Calzaghe fight in their primes. Both Calzaghe and Hopkins had record reigns in their respective weight classes and won a lineal title a division above. I can't see how Hopkins' resume is that much better than Calzaghe's, given the losses and his best wins being against smaller guys.

Hopkins losses came against the fastest guys he fought (DLH's speed also gave him a few problems early in their fight), indicating a weakness against those type of guys. That will hurt him in ATG head to head matchups. Calzaghe on the other hand showed he could figure out any style, even Hopkins illegal Octopussy tactics, and would be competitive with any of the greats, that is a given.

Roy's resume is better than both though. 4 weight World Champ beating the likes of Hopkins, Toney, McCallum, Virgil Hill, Ruiz, Tarver. Even his losses he has legit excuses. Griffin he was DQ'd, rightly so, but he would have won, and he destroyed Griifin in the rematch. and for the Tarver and Glen Johnson fights, he was weakened losing all that weight coming back down from Heavyweight. And against Calzaghe he was clearly past his prime and fighting a fighter still very much in his.

I really hope Roy beats Hop, as Hop don't to deserve to avenge his loss to Jones avoiding the rematch all those years.

I know this is sarcasm but its funny still--these hopkins fanboys crying that calzaghe never fought him earlier...yet it was their man who pulled out in 2002.

You hold too much self importance

you actually think im this 'dinamita' guy because i think bhop beat calzaghe?

your world is so small it consists of you, dinamita, pacfans and welshmen.

and because i think bhop beat calzaghe i go into the "dinamita" section.

if you continue thinking that way you'll risk thinking yourself ill.
