Nevertheless, when Joe was gonna leave Warren started delivering and Joe started clearing house and then Lacy, Kessler, X and Jones became history.

You're forgetting alot of the other fighters Hopkins fought....
and Roy Jones Jr. fighting Antonio Tarver 3 times is a huge feat in and of itself.
Calzaghe is a scared little ghost of a fighter, never fought anyone worth their salt, never has, never will. Grade A british chump.

Now you have a fighter like Clinton Woods who just went the distance with Tavoris Cloud. Mind you Clinton was very very aged, and still put up a valiant fight. Thats what you call British Boxing, not some chump who fights Sheika, and Lacy.... pfft
Clinton was busting out on the scene while Calzaghe hid in his own filth.

 

He didn't take as many risks either, both those guys did FAR more. Calzaghe might have over 20 title defenses and only two or three names AT MOST could be mentioned as good wins.

Isn't it weird that he claimed Jones is too much threat in his prime for little money and also demanded that Jones come to Wales to make the fight because he considers his self as "the champion" yet he made the move to the U.S. with HIS LINEAL title(far better than the WBOgus) to fight him when he made sure Jones isn't just shot, but BEYOND shot. Jones has been shot for nearly 5 years when Calzaghe fought him and exchanged rounds with an inactive past prime Trinidad before that fight. Hard to respect something like that.
