    Here were go again...HATING WITHOUT KNOWLEDGE!!!

    Floyd signed to Fight Zab when held one of the Welterweight titles. All Zab had do win vs Baldomir. Well, Baldomir beat Zab, which made Baldomir the LINEAR CHAMP.

    Floyd still fought Zab to honor their contract for the fight. And after the fight...In the now "infamous" interview with Brian Kenney of ESPN..."So Floyd, why fight Judah, when Judah just lost to Baldomir making him the LINEAR CHAMP?"

    Then in ALL the Boxing Forums: "FLOYD IS SCARED OF BALDOMIR....FLOYD IS DUCKING BALDOMIR BLAH BLAH BLAH."

    So its was actually a pretty easy decision...Fight Margarito, who had NOTHING AT THE TIME....OR THE LINEAR CHAMP...BALDOMIR!!!!

    Then after beating Baldomir and after Cotto beats Mosley....Floyd goes to 154lbs for Oscar. Cotto fights...wait for it....wait for it................ALFONSO GOMEZ:rofl:rofl:rofl

    I swear you have to be the most ******ed mother****a in this forum, your trying to slag Cotto for fighting Gomez when it was obviously a tuneup to fight Margarito a guy Floyd didn't want no parts of. Cotto has fought 4 fighters in the current top 10 welterweights and including Quintana and Judah who use to be ranked in the top 10 welterweights.

    Why is it ok for Cotto and Oscar and even Pavlik to fight "Contender" contestants...But if Paul Wiliiams or Flyd fought Jesse Brinkley before a big fight...ESB, BOXING SCENE AND ANY OTHER FORUM WOULD LOSE THEIR MINDS!!!!

    I don't know who Jesse Brinkley is but if Williams fought him, I believe he should not get criticized because he has recently taken on legit threats while Floyd hasn't taken on a legit threat in a couple of years so he should get criticized if he did fight a Brinkley level fighter.

    I have no problem with Cotto fighting Gomez.

    The issue is the Double Standard of how fighters are criticized.

    Juanma's performance was called courageuous and tremenduous heart in the fight vs Mtwaga...Yet he looked AWFUL!!!

    Yet Williams and Berto get Starched by really good fighters like Quintana, Martinez and Collazo....yet they were called HYPE-JOBS, OVERRATED BLAH BLAH BLAH!!!! You and I both know....THAT AINT RIGHT!!!

    You assume too much...i don't hate mayweather...anyone who truly thought a guy who was 43-9-6 was a threat to any elite fighter at 147 was a fool...anyone who tries to place credence in that joke of a fight is an even bigger fool. Go ahead and try to rationalize may's decisions over the past 7 years...no one can...he has refused to make the fights anyone truly cares to see. The only fights over the past 7 years that have had any real merit in the eyes of the public have been Hatton at 147 and DLH at 154...the boxing public rewarded him with fighter of the year honors as a result. Other than that, his career path has been questionable over the past 7 years...Pac's resume is so much more complete than Floyd's...

    so don't give me that unmerited crap about hate on Floyd...I view boxing with an unbiased scope.

    Juanma is just a world titlist who will not be elite and his awful performance against Mtagwa didn't surprise me because Lopez just aint that good. And no the criticism that Williams got may not be right but it is to be expected when you call yourself the ''Most Feared Man In Boxing".

    I don't understand why Pac's resume is better based on beating the fighters that Floyd beat also!!!! Excluding Marquez

    Ok...Example.

    Oscar fought a fighter from the "Contender" (A nobody) Steve Forbes..now i don't know if that was a "so-called" tune-up before the Pacquiao fight, but still no criticizm.

    Cotto fights another contestant from the "Contender" Alfonso Gomez (as you say a tune up before Margarito) yet no criticism.

    Kelly Pavlik postpones several times then eventually cancels a fight with Paul Williams just to fight another Contestant from the Contender Miguel Espino...Yet again...NO-ONE SAYS NOTHING!!!

    Now, Imagine is Paul Williams in his next fight, fights a NO-NAME BUM....can u imagine the Criticism???

    Oh...And here is the Best one...Imagine if Pacquiao fights Mallinaggi....before fighting Floyd in a "PUSHED BACK DATE" of May or June...NO-ONE WOULD SAY ****!!!

    But if Floyd fight Mathew Hatton or Yuri Forman as his "Tune-up"....CAN U IMAGINE THE HATE!!!!

    DOUBLE STANDARD!!!!!!
