And he is not alone...most fighters do this. I like Floyd, but can admit he has done it. Pac is being a baby, but I can admit he is a great fighter.

There are just too many fighter fanatics on here, and not enough boxing fans.

Everything coming from you, thread starter, is absolutely meaningless. You are one of the worst posters ever. Pure racial bias.

Very biased post to start with. The "close" look on the fights Pac fought in each division follow no natural order which should be significant around here - David Diaz at 135 lbs - Oscar de la Hoya at 147 lbs - Ricky Hatton at 140 lbs - Miguel Cotto at 147 lbs. It's quite natural that Pacquiao would go from JMM to D Diaz, not so much natural was the step up to fight Hoya but the same as happened with Floyd after Baldomir and it worked for both of them, then both Floyd and Manny went for Ricky which is a finantial as well as a smart stilistical choice of opponents... Where does the difference come up? Floyd opted to fight JMM when he was recognized as a true WW Champ and Pacquiao fought Miguel Cotto who Floyd refused to fight to go back into retirement.

The rest is quite irrelevant as the thread starter recognizes Manny Pacquiao speed ( whether he means foot speed, reflexes, dynamics, handspeed, whatever) but he solely refers to it and does not consider punching power - remember Floyd outboxed Carlos Baldomir but he didn't challenge him physically as much as Pacquiao against Cotto... Too much Irrelevant facts pointed out as I said before as you can put Floyd's wins in his way towards those Hoya and Hatton fights side to side with Pacquiao's ( Gatti and Barrera, Judah and Marquez, Baldomir and Diaz, needless was to mention a way past his prime fighter like Corley specially when it is mentioned for SPEED???)...

Hatton was unbeaten at 140 as was the man at that weight.
Cotto IMO was the best WW or one of the best at the time. Only one loss to a Margo that may or may not have ya illegal wraps. He fought Cotto in his second fight at welter.

Says it all really, in no way is Pac a cherry picker like Mayweather, how long has May been a welter for? And who has he fought at welter? LOL says it all.

i agree with everthing, but at the time when floyd mayweather fought corley and judah, those were the best corley and judah i had ever seen.i think corely is a good fighter and zab is a better fighter.even though manny was putting away bigger fighters, the guys he faced were carefully hand choosen.style wise they were are tailormade for him.they all were to slow and were just siiting ducks.

So then Why are you in here. if you don't like my threads...DO NOT ENTER. Coming in and posting insults don't exactly place you in the UPPER ECHELON of posters.

There is a big difference between a THREAD STARTER AND A **** STARTER...Guess what category you're in???

If you don't agree with something...tell us why. But to only post insults...Tells us that ESB needs to raise their AGE (AND IQ) REQUIREMENTS!!!!

different style fighters really. pac is a knockout artist, pbf is a defensive minded purist boxer. one is not better than the other, and comparing them is apples and oranges.

also, just saying someone is/was a good ww, doesn't a damn thing if you ignore styles. pac has fought fighters without right hands in his climb up the weight ladder. There is nothing wrong with it, especially since those fights made him him money.

and all on the slide, and all left hand dominant fighters using an orthodox stance, thus, no right hand

we all saw what JMM did with his right hand

    Thats all I was saying!!!

And Notice, NO-ONE even mentioned Pacquiao, Arum and Roach's desire to fight Malignaggi and Yuri Foreman.

If "Team Mayweather" said they wanted to fight Malignaggi and Foreman...ESB WEBSITE WOULD CRASH FROM THE OVERLOAD OF HATERS TRYING TO LOG-IN!!!

IMO since pac got beaten twice by JMM(because he did) he has been cherry picking his fights....fighting people at catchweights that he knew he would not lose to
