I understand what you are saying and there is truth to it. I'm not saying you're completely discrediting Pacquiao, I'd just like to point out that even looking at things the way you do Pacquiao is still one impressive fighter like you stated at the end. He beat Hatton while still being able to fight at lightweight and be able to have a size advantage. He beat Cotto and looked much more impressive than anyone who had faced him (and that's including Shane Mosely) while being at one division above his best weight class. Pacquiao is not very small we should all accept that. But welterweight is still not his best weightclass and we shoudln't forget that. But what you're complaining about is something that the current state of boxing let's many fighters do not just Pacquiao. In fact Floyd has been accused of doing the same thing through out his career and I would say with Floyd it's even more evident that he has in fact cherry picked and even flirted with retirement just to have his way. I don't think we should fault one fighter and not the other when they have done similar things for the same reason...$.

pac is koing bigger fighters who had been ko'd ALREADY and have no defense...pac is good on offense so he can do this...the bloated LW gave pac hell and floyd completely OUTCLASSED HIM...pac has never beat a pure boxer...he cherry picks...i don't blame him but anyone who says he doesn't and floyd does is simply delusional....are u *******s going to deny if he fights yuri foreman or malignaggi that he is not cherry picking...david diaz was not cherry picking??? are u kidding me...every figther who is in the position of being the star gets more options so both floyd and pac are allowed the luxury of fighting guys they feel they can beat for the most money...now pac has a real fight and it is him, not floyd, who is filing a lawsuit instead of taking a random blood test and fighting in the ring

Never thought I'd see the day people where people would complain that Pac fought Cotto instead of someone else.

And in this case, someone Cotto already beat.

Cotto....Beat Zab. EM and MAB beat Kevin Kelly. JMM beat Derrick Gainer.....there's more examples but this should suffice.

:huh How doesn't this make sense? PAC can't fight everyone. PAC looks for the biggest and the most challenging fights and of course not everyone is going to get it. EM outboxed a very different fighter than we see today in Manny. You're comparing apples to oranges.

With that arguement you are agreeing to you it basically applies to ANY AND ALL boxers. Most feel fighters are carefully brought along and carefully managed to slowly progress to the bigger and harder challenges to solidify their careers. Floyd for example is accused of this all day long.

True....with that said...the two guys that gave Floyd hell in DLH and Ricky were destroyed in a onesided fashion by PAC. So it's a moot point to say that a bloated JMM got outclassed by the bigger, stronger, faster and younger Floyd. At a weight JMM had no business at.

On the flip side PAC moved up in weight to fight DLH and Ricky....although DLH was fighting lighter than he had in 8 yrs he was still the bigger man whom 90% of the folks predicting the fight gave to DLH....PAC beat Rick at HIS weight class.

PAC beat JMM who is a pure boxer. He's boxer with a classic boxing style......but still a pure boxer. Floyd is a pure boxer with a slick defensive style.

PAC isn't the one killing the fight. The only hang up is drug testing which FLOYD has asked for..Which is beyond and above ANYTHING that has ever been requested in this sport.

Answer me this....if Floyd says PAC is easy...and doesn't concern him and REALLLY wants the fight....why in the world is he even a bit concerned about PAC and being on any kind of drugs? After all PAC isn't that good from what Floyd says and they say he'd be easy for them. Why are they creating obstacles before the fight was made?

The whole "killing of the fight" stems from Floyd's team making FALSE and unjustified rumors about PAC being on EPO's or HGH without any facts or proof. AGAIN>......WHY! Why create obstacles in making the biggest fight in history if you are so confident in beating the man they consider an easy fight?
