Well, smart plan by Roach. Khan has been shown to have the lowest level of punch resistance humanly possible, so it would definitely be wise to keep him away from Bradley until it's for a large amount of money. Then, feed Khan to Bradley for a big payday, win or lose. Better than doing it now before there's serious money to be made.

He's just saying Khan is not ready.
    Nothing wrong with that.
Malignaggi is a step up for Khan (that alone, just proves he's not ready for Bradley).
    Why the hate?

eh whats wrong with this? khan has more or less just about recovered from his ko'ing by a nobody and is fighting for the first time in the states so i think its normal to take things step by step, anyway, the fight against paulie is a good one, could go either way imo

I don't really see it as being able to go either way. If Khan doesn't have to fear a guy's power, he can outskill most fighters. Malignaggi has no punching power, despite wobbling Juan Diaz. Khan should be able to win this one going away.

Freddie is only repeating what we already know. Golden Boy is not going to chance him losing unless it's against another Golden Boy fighter or unless the pay out is huge. With all the HBO dates GBP has and considering the amount of fighters they have at or around 140lbs., they can protect this kid for a little while and keep him in house.

I think he's more saying that it's too big a risk with too little a (financial) reward at the moment. Not so much that Khan isn't ready, but that Bradley hasn't built a big enough following for the money to be there.

What's the use of Khan having a so called "World championship belt" at 140 or calling himself a "World Champion" if he has to hesitate before fighting anyone in his division? It just has a lot to say about being a "World Champion" these days if you have to pick and choose your opponent because of the risks involved in doing so. Alexander did the right thing by unifying a portion of the belts. I wish that there were still one champion per weight division.

No, possibly. Alexander would murder Khan.

You know Roach doesn't put his fighters in with a good prime fighter. Hed rather put him in there with an old blown up JMM. He's just following the script

Bradley beats on Amir for 10 rounds before hitting that glass chin...Khan would never get over it
