Bazooka, you think everyone can beat Floyd until they lose. You were one of the main one's screaming that Floyd was scared of Mosley, and that Floyd was going to find a way to pull out of the fight, and stupid stuff like that. Why don't you just give the man his credit as the best fighter in the sport. Pac is an elite fighter but he's not in Mayweather's class.

I didn't say he was cheating Mayweather, I said he wanted to drain him... which is what any smart fighter would want. Floyd walks around at 154 CUT. So he drops muscle to make 147. If anything Floyd needs to stay at 154. If anything SSM and Floyd should have fought at 154 but Floyd wanted to take some sting off of SSM's punches so he made the fight at 147.

JMM carries his extra weight mainly as fat so dropping to 135 is a matter of mostly cardio. But a good trainer will mix in resistance training to increase muscle. If you put on weight as muscle, it doesn't affect speed and gives you more power and punch resistance. That's why Ariza is given so much credit for his conditioning skills with Manny... he built Manny up without significantly increasing his fat levels. The mystery is how Manny is able to rehydrate without adding fat and water weight.

Did JMM add his weight as muscle? I think so but only his trainer knows. Either way, Floyd lost MUSCLE to fight JMM. Even a pound of muscle loss can have a serious effect.

Dude, you didn't answer ****, you just went on a mad rant. The catchweight argument is nonsense as I just showed that the physical difference between Pac and Cotto was negligible. Pac didn't need the 2 pounds, he took it because he knew it would weaken Cotto. Pac fans need a little perspective.

So, you mean to say that JMM is used to losing 20 pounds easily while Mayweather can not lose 3 pounds despite the fight being moved to a later date? Mayweather is exactly not pure muscle at 147.

We finally have a genius here!!!!!!

Why do people like you make stupid post like this. Where the hell did you get the fact that Floyd walks around at 154 from?? You pulled it out your ass because you don't know what your talking about.

Then you further showed your stupidity and ignorance by claiming that Floyd made Mosley fight at 147 in order to take the sting off his punches.:huh You idiot, Mosley was the WW champion..Floyd didn't make him fight at 147, that's the division that they were already in.

Losing fat is easier than losing muscle. And Floyd has almost no fat on him at 147. or 154

Yes, losing 20 pounds of fat is physiologically easier than losing 3 (but actually 8 cuz Floyd walks around at 154-155) pounds of muscle.

Because you can not bring down Hoya lower than 147 without killing him. Infact 147 was a stretch. But the fight was nothing more than a money fight, not an iota of significance. Everybody knows that Hoya is past it years ago, unless you are a *****, then Hoya is past it after he fought Mayweather.

Whereas Cotto weighed in at 146 against CLottey the previous fight.

Basically, Pac's camp still don't believe that Pac is a welterweight and if you don't get the reasoning, you are an idiot. It has nothing to do with draining Cotto or any of your fantastical logic.

    Conditioning expert my ass?

Floyd and Mosley are 154 natural at this point. Shane fights at 147 for the money and so does Floyd.

Dude, you STILL haven't answered the question. Roach will be the first to say that Pac's walking around weight is 148. and Pac balls almost every day.

What are you basing this on? Seriously. Floyd only had one fight at 154, and he only weighed in at 150.

If you saw the 24/7, you would have noticed that SSM and Mayweather were completely dehydrated a month before the fight. Floyd weighed 150 at the weigh-in for DLH, no one has the fight night weigh-in.

They didn't fight for Mosley's belts. So fighting at 147 was a matter of choice not necessity. SSM had the advantages in size and reach, so fighting at 147 rather than 154 made more sense for Floyd.
