Pacquiao vs Clottey was terrible, how people can defend that god only knows.

 

That was one of the dumbest things I have ever read.

 

Fine but Hatton, Marquez and Mosley were not.

 

Mosley was elite multi division champion no doubt.... But was well faded by the time Mayweather fought him as was the case when Oscar fought Pac (plus weight drained)

However I do agree Clottey did lose all of his major fights, as did Zab Judah who still somehow was able to earn a pay check and fight Floyd comming off of a huge upset loss at the hands of feather fisted Carlos Baldimor who really hasnt beat anybody...

 

Probably has something to do with the fact that earlier in his career he was beating real world class fighters away from home that he was suppost to lose too, whilst Mayweather has been very very smart in picking his fights and nearly always having the advantages like always fighting at home.Looking at it from outside Pacman just fights anyone anywhere anytime but with Mayweather there seems to be alot of stipulations and bull**** when planning fights.

Not to mention home is vegas, the capital of boxing. At least 80% of the greatest biggest fights happen in Vegas.

 

Pretty sure Mayweather vs Judah was agreed before Zab lost to Baldo.

 

There wasnt any real money in fighting Mosley to be honest and I think as much as you would like to bicker about it you know that much is true

sure it was agreed to but that is no excuse boxing didnt want that fight didnt need that fight so why make the fight, but that isnt the point the point is someone said Clottey lost all his big fights so did Judah...

 

Funny thing is they agreed with Roach that they turned Mosley down because he wasn't as big a draw as Cotto, rather than picking him because he hasn't looked as good since the Margo beatdown.

Yet when Mayweather vs Mosley beat Pacquiao vs Cotto in the PPV stakes all of a sudden it was because Mosley was American and such a huge draw.
