i think it's clear the foreman was hand-picked due to his lack of power (and nothing against the guy, he showed bug heart)

but until we see how cotto handles getting hit, we won't know if he is back

I'm not sure how much better Spinks would have been, he's clearly past it as well. Cotto or Pacquiao would have beaten the **** out of him.

That's all I am saying...Thank you for having the insight to understand this. And you're right about Foreman...I wish fighters like Judah and Bojado had that kinda HEART!!!!

I completely agree with you. Something amazing? Not sure yet. Some better footwork and composure, for sure.

i think all cotto needs is an afro and he'd look like a light skinned black guy.

I wouldn't call Cotto's performance special or amazing, although I would use that to decribe Foreman's guts last nite.

Cotto looked much better in many ways. Seemed to have a real plan, which had been lacking. Seemed to have better footwork, was taking it to a bigger, more mobile opponent and was obviously winning the fight pre-injury.

Steward can and will help him. To what extent remains to be seen.

I love how a few days before the fight there are tons of people picking Foreman to win and out box Cotto and praising Foreman saying he's a terrible matchup for Cotto and then after Cotto beats him..."Foreman was hand picked and us the weakest champion". That **** is hilarious.

If Cotto was black this Farrakhan wannabe would be here crying about Cotto not getting the credit he thinks he should get.

He won against a mover without knee.
Yuri would have win the rest of the fight, Cotto was slowing down and Yuri has great stamina

That may be true...But not from me. This fight wasn't worthy enough for a prediction from me.

Alot of people were saying Cotto was the sacrificial lamb in this fight. Saying that he was being offered up by Arum to Foreman as a springboard for Foreman to move on to bigger and better things. I know this happens in boxing and it may have turned out that way had Foreman won, but Cotto outclassed him. It was a dangerous fight for both guys, and I give them both credit.

Foreman showed me he has the heart of a champ, just not the knee of one.
