Put their fights in order from best to worst (1) Hagler-Hearns (2) Leonard-Hearns 1 (3) Leonard-Duran 1 (4) Hearns-Duran (5) Hagler-SRL (6) Hagler-Duran (7) Leonard-Hearns 2 (8) Leonard-Duran 2 (9) Leonard-Duran 3
1) Duran-Leonard I and Hagler-Hearns 3) Leonard-Hearns I 4) Leonard-Hearns II 5) Leonard-Hagler 6) Hearns-Duran 7) Hagler-Duran 8) Leonard-Duran II 9) Leonard-Duran III (one of the worst fights ever) Leonard-Hearns II was actually probably better in terms of action than the first fight. I picked the first fight over it mainly the skill level and drama, two greats being much closer to their peaks than in the rematch. Hagler-Hearns and Duran-Leonard I are interchangable. Duran-Leonard I was longer (having more rounds of sustained action), and closer. Hagler whooped on Hearns after round 1, and seemed to be fighting the blood more so than Hearns from that point. But Hagler-Hearns didn't have the clinching that plagued Duran-Leonard I, and also had a more definitive conclusion.
