Tarjeta BDP was less generous, they have it 90-81 Maidana.

    Round 10

López is backing up in a crouch, rolling with Maidana's jab, undulating, and now (unlike in earlier rounds) boomeranging in with combinations. He gets Maidana on the backfoot as in R9 with just sheer activity. López whips a double right hook on the flank of a retreating Maidana. The fatigued Argentine is carrying his lead arm low by his thigh, and his posture looks slouched. López surprises him with a jumping attack, slashing a right across his pecs. Sustained body attack by López, very urgent. Does he think he's gonna score a last minute body shot KO here? They rumble until the bell, López enthusiastically and Maidana with some grumpy ready-for-the-showers reluctance.

    10-9 López

    98-92 Maidana

    Official cards:

100-88 (guess one judge saw a couple of rounds dominant enough to make 10-8?)
    99-91
    100-90

    UD for Maidana

Really a mediocre fighter, perhaps held up to unfairly high expectations and comparisons with El Chino whose level he was never going to remotely approach in all honesty. In his early prospect days he was a pretty fun KO artist but a lot of the fire and hunger seems to have dissipated so now he's just a lackluster & slow, flawed puncher.

He did a victory interview but I couldn't make heads or tails of it (unlike his punching, his Spanish is demasiado rapido).

If anybody happened to be watching and is reading the RBR, you could be a gent and translate, spill any tea if he called anybody out etc.

...and this concludes your alternate Wednesday night boxing RBR coverage of the card literally nobody outside Argentina bothered watching because a much better option in González vs. Castaneda was free on YouTube.
