Fabio Wardley enters superstardom tonight

Wednesday 13th of May 2026 it is fair to say that Wardley has cemented his place in British boxing folklore for the rest of time.

The outpouring of admiration for the man is incredible, with many referring to him as the hardest man in Britain and in boxing, and he has been credited for his exciting style.

It was Wardley, the defending champion, who encapsulated the billing of "don't blink" by knocking Dubois over in the first eleven seconds of the boxing match. The former recruitment consultant and late starter had everyone on the edge of their seats. By the end of the contest, he had won the hearts of the British nation and boxing fans globally.

We see advanced technical performances on a regular basis throughout the weight divisions. We do not often see what Wardley demonstrated on Saturday night.
