I think he realised after the Clarke fight that it’s now time to have the security of a contract behind you. Especially with all this money available in Saudi and Frank probably looking for a replacement for Joyce shortly.

Yeah and to be fair Frank basically has every UK heavyweight barring Johnny Fisher and Fraser Clarke

Does this increase the likelihood of a rematch with Frazer Clarke?

Frank repaying Wardley for fighting on with that awful chin cut before the Adeleye fight last year. Could easily have pulled out.

Wardley seems to have something about him, I guess coming up from the white collar stuff to the pro ranks, he's got balls anyway.

It's a smart move by Fabio considering QB and MR seem to be the favoured promoters with the Saudi's and Boxxer seems not. It's where the money is and their making the top HWs fight each other.

If I'm Frank, I'm looking at getting Wardley on the AJ vs Dubois undercard against a Euro level named opponent (Takam for example) for the exposure. Then looking to put Wardley against the winner of Joyce vs Chisora on a QB event in the UK at the end of the year.

What does he do with Wardley? Is he a Joyce opponent if he beats Chisora? Can't see Wardley stepping up much above British level.

Possibly the final nail in the coffin for Boxxer, if rumours are true.

Might not matter with the right fight on the right show. He'll earn well.

Wonder if this Wembley event is another "knockout chaos" type thing stacked with heavyweights?

Maybe he intends to eventually feed him to Moses Itauma? Mind you, both are training under Ben Davidson now so maybe not. Eddie is keen for Fisher to fight Wardley if he comes through the Babic fight so maybe one for the next 5 v 5

Must admit, and I hold no beef against Matchroom, it did tickle me for the youtube shills to be saying "after the huge 5v5 card, Eddie talks Fisher vs Babic" - it's quite the contrast.

I'd say Adam Smith teaming up with GBM could be the nail in the coffin.

Think Smith has picked sides, and will see him back at Sky with GBM
