Didn't actually sit and score the fight but I thought Wardley edged it, draw was a good decision though.

Considering he was wearing Drago shorts you'd have thought he'd have given a better account of himself

Didn't score it rnd by rnd but feeling was Clarke may have edged it. Felt Clarke wa s slightly more consistent with his work over the fight, whereas wardley coudldl be more explosive in bursts if a little wild, still effective though.

Clarkes jab was good for him throughout the fight busting that nose up and also the uppercut worked really well for him.
Wardley a natural fighter when you consider his lack of experience before turning pro, be a cracking side kick in a bar room brawl.

Great fight hope there's a rematch at some point, need mor e British dust ups like this

“Disney Drago” - what’s that all about? Only interested in Mickey Mouse promotions?

The fact that Sky gave this guy a push in the “new generation” era from 2021 on shows how far behind they got.

    Daft isn't it

However I don't see you jump on Hearn when he says stupid stuff often if ever

And he has had a few classics as of late

I gave up scoring about 7 rounds in, because I was that engaged in the fight I lost track. On the final bell I thought Wardley had just taken it, but it was very close and, like boxing so often is, rather subjective in regard to what you value in a performance. For me Wardley's aggression alongside the docked point just about taking him over the line. I had no problem with someone seeing it the other way for pretty much the reasons you give above, though I thought Howard Foster's score was too wide. If Clarke won, then it was very close.

Overall I had no problem with the result being a draw, it was one of those fights where both parties came out with their reputation enhanced. Clarke did more than he has in the past and Wardley showed immense willpower to keep going after his injury. A fantastic fight.

Sorry to hear that. Hope that things turn around, sounds like you're facing them head on which is a very positive start. Sending best wishes your way.
