Total viewing figures announced as 1.7 Million.

Awkward day for the 'nOboDY wAtCHes sKY aNyMoRe' crew

Not really, what it actually does is demonstrate that if you put on a fight and a show that people actually want to to see that the audience is still there, we live in times of unprecedented choice, the viewing numbers will reflect the quality of the show.

    Great numbers.
Should be able to sell a few PPVs for the rematch

They are great numbers but there's some sleight of hand involved. Undoubtedly a press release not designed to be read too carefully.
So in truth the card drew 1.7m across the evening, not all of whom stayed that long, and in a given 15-minute segment 746,000 were watching. Given up to 1.9m people paid to watch Joshua fights in the past, that kind of puts it in perspective given there wasn't much else on TV.
    Somehow I don't think we'll get 1.7m - or 746k - for that one.

Someone should let Dalton know that without sky sports he could never achieve them huge numbers.

I did laugh when I saw that. Literally wouldn’t get 10% of those numbers on DAZN

He wouldn't get a fraction of those numbers even on Sky Sports. A lot of things added up to a good audience on Sunday night but wouldn't repeat on your usual Saturday.

Nice to see another Matchroom fighter injected with the arrogance gene though.

I'll tune in to watch one half of the nauseating female forced upon us duo get spanked.

Talking of spankings, whats the crack with Rachel Ball? Beat "Shanny", got Covid then absolutely nothing.

I presume both have retired from Boxing?

Adam has had far far more exposure than Dalton and that, Ladies and Gentlemen, is the power of Sky Sports.

Dalton is talking out of his arse.

Good shout about Rachel Ball, I completely forgot about her. She used to have good banter when she was slating Shanny online for missing weight with such gems as ‘it must be so tough making 122lbs…when you are five foot 3 inches’. Hahahahahahaha

Seem to remember Rachel Ball being sidelined by a combination of complications from long covid and an injury kept her out of the ring for quite a while. Then marriage and a child happened and have to assume she has retired.

Shame really, she seemed like a really nice girl and would have liked to have seen her getting a world title. Especially as a part timer who had a job as a dementia nurse.
