Wardley has a better chin and stamina. Cooney with the better fundamentals may get the better of it for a bit, but I see Wardley coming into the fight more as Cooney fades and stopping him. Wardley would invest into the body of Cooney early on, and the target would be there with how Cooney blocks. Wardley likes to throw that hard right to the body, but he needs to be mindful of that counter left hook of Cooney. As Cooney fades, Wardley is able to put combinations together head and body, uppercuts, bodyshots and he’d stop Cooney most likely.
