Yeah even as a debut this is fairly pointless IMO. He looks like he belongs a few weight divisions south to boot.

Did Adam Smith just call Williams a starlet?

Williams is going nowhere, cleary is power is minimal, he's landing hellacious flush rights to the skull of the Argentine and he's barely blinking. The first decent pressure fighter he faces, they walk through him.

Ridiculous commentary. Williams is fighting a complete bum yet Adam Smith and pals are treating Williams like the next Ali.

Hes a professional journeyman, and this guy in particular specializes in fighting prospects in 4 rounds fights. Valdez is actually quite well traveled, and I bet he earns a decent living off of this, given that he is an Argentinian. Dude probably makes at least €1k per fight, and is from a country where the median income is €450 a month, give or take.

"decent level these last 3 or 4 years"
I really like Mike Perez, but wtf are the commentators smoking? Perez has been fighting absolute bums for years now.

I'm really rooting for Ward here, even though it's a long shot, he seems like a good guy, and Perez is so damned unlikable. Ward even though he loses a lot, at least his matches tend to be more exciting, so he has more to give to the sport.

Perez will probably fall into obscurity again, Ward would push himself and attempt to climb higher.

Damn, Ward had adjusted to the left hand of Perez rather fast. Perez landed it quite a bit in the opening round, but failed to do so in the second, at least upstairs.
