Mike Perez is a guy who seems like one of these Cubans who COULD have done a lot, but made every wrong move in their career

 

Like I said with Josh Kelly, feels like he's making up for lost time, but on a much worse scale than Kelly is.

Dont underestimate how much the Abdusalamov fight will have effected him early in his pro career.
He did nothing wrong but his opponent was left crippled for life, i can't imagine what Perez was feeling after that.

This fight is way too high on the card. I get they want to build up this kid's name in his debut but he's not exciting and fighting a guy with 20 losses.

Richardson has no idea how to throw a power punch. Usually guys like him will sit down on a few punches here and there, but he is just all arms.

 

The last fight I went to live was Lara vs Wood, and as hardcore a fan as I am, I got a little burnout from watching the whole card live. Perhaps it was sitting around a load of morons, idk. Much prefer watching boxing at home with commentary or at least from the comfort of a bar.
