I think fabio would win on the current run. Ruiz was only considered good because of Matchroom propaganda. We kept hearing about how he was this great amateur and had amazing skills and hands as fast as lightning. Reality is he was just tougher and more game than AJ but worse in basically every other way. One thing I would say is that Ruiz fought a better Parker than the fat cokehead with CTE Wardley fought. But still, Parker was always overhyped. And Ruiz lost and never hurt Parker and fabio stopped him. So Ruiz still didn't do as well. I also feel like Ruiz is a hideously fat pig.
Problem is Ruiz had a very short prime. Lost a close one to Parker. So Vargas, Johnson, AJ is probably his prime. Hardley a list of killers. Then post AJ loss to respectable wins Vs an old Arreola and an Old Ortiz. Good chin, good stamina and punch out, fast hands. But he lost to AJ with a simple one 2. Could Wadley stay focused and disciplined for 12 or even put Ruiz out. I think Wadley would get clipped at some point but Ruiz isn't a huge puncher. I think its another close fight. We don't know Wadley's ceiling yet. IF he turns out to have an iron chin or massive powers of recovery he could be a head to head nightmare. At the moment stylistically you might lean towards fat Andy I'm not sure Wardley wouldn't get greedy at some point and he nearly blew himself out Vs Parker...
Good fight. Not confident but I think Ruiz's speed and power combination might take this. Hard to call IMO. I can see the argument of Wardley winning.
