Fabio Wardley vs prime Anthony Joshua

We don't even know if AJ is returning yet, but yes I expect AJ to still beat Wardley.

 

I actually think this is a possibly awful style match-up for Joshua, as Wardley could turn it into a WAR, and quite plausibly overwhelm him, Dubois and Ruiz style.

I think prime Joshua, in most respects, was a better overall fighter than Wardley, but a young heavyweight with such confidence and power is the wrong match-up for Joshua, quite Corrie Sanders vs. Klitschko esque, this fight, I would argue.

I'm also not convinced that the Joshua who got mowed through by Dubois was far off 'prime' Joshua as it was just a bad style match-up.

 

"Durable" in the sense Wardley hasn't actually fought any heavyhitters yet and it basically a sitting duck for AJs right hand/uppercut.

Let's not get carried away here.
