Round 1

Right jabs scoring by Aurieng. Nothing in return from Love, plodding left to right and turning with his midsection jiggling even at the slow pace.

Round 2

Aurieng is still getting in the jab as Love stands there and eats them. Aurieng moves forward and finds no resistance, other than some clinching from Love.

Round 3

Aurieng is throwing groups of three or four shots in behind his jab, keeping his forearms up on either side of his face on the way in, grabbed and released by Love each time. Very little clean action.

Round 4

Aurieng is jumping in with the jab, getting squeezed, slithering out and resetting. Right hooks are substituted for jabs in some of Aurieng's paragliding missions. Love is pawing ineffectively at him, with no prayer of timing a counter and instead continuing to rely on mauling him up close, maybe hoping to sap his energy that way.

Round 5

Aurieng is landing the southpaw 1-2 and splitting Love's guard with a left uppercut. Love walks through it and tosses a blanket on Aurieng, over and over.

Round 6

Aurieng is digging in with that left uppercut, doubling and tripling it, sometimes not even bothering with a setup right jab. Love is gobbling them up like candy, head bobbling as he lurches in to grab. Love is puffed up above the right eye.

Aurieng is standing in front of Love, unafraid, swimming in low with right hooks and left uppercuts, repeating each a few times in succession until Love drops arms on him. Love still hasn't figured out how to land first while Aurieng is walking in. A few claps on the backside by Love, that's it.

Round 8

Aurieng is starting to drift in with the tide on Love, ride the undertow and breach on his left flank, coming up with right upper-hooks and catching him completely by surprise despite not moving all that fast. It's as though Love has no peripheral vision to go along with being incredibly slow of both hand and foot (and mind). The sloth is standing up to all the flush power shots but not responding.

Round 9

Huge lunging right uppercut by Aurieng, driving Love into the corner. Love is bleeding profusely from the nose. Aurieng jabs Love in the nose and falls in as Love throws both arms around him, pulling him into a tight hug.

Round 10

Aurieng is throwing jabs on the way inside and getting tied up every 5-10 seconds. Nice left uppercuts on the inside by Aurieng, hurting the wearied Love. Body shots by Aurieng, shoving Love into the ropes. Love is posing as though about to throw a 1-2 but gets tapped on the nose with the right jab of Aurieng before he can and ties up.

Round 11

Aurieng is getting held constantly. He ducks the grab attempts and drives his right shoulder up into Love's chest, working the left uppercut to try and drive a wedge between them and back Love up onto the ropes. Love manages to get his arms snaked around the back of Aurieng's neck and pushes down on him. They pause to fix tape on Aurieng's glove. Left upper-hook by Love, easily blocked with a flick of the wrist by Aurieng. A pair of uppercuts by Aurieng leaning in as Love ties up again. Aurieng slams Love on the base of the skull with an overhand left as Love was turning in, upper body curled up lazily instead of raising his arms into a guard, on his way into the next clinch attempt. Love ties up. They trade sloppy undercuts to the body while pressed together.

Round 12

Love ambles in and builds up his nerve from mid-range for about half a minute, and then whips in a few wild uppercuts in a gawky charge, finally coming alive in the mid-twelfth. Now it's Aurieng with discretionary tying up, biding his time until Love runs short on gas, which doesn't take long. Uppercuts and slapping looped lefts by Aurieng, pushing Love into a corner. Big hooking flurry by Aurieng, banging Love below the ears with the insides of his wrists but unable to cleanly plant his knuckles on the big man at such close range with their chests nearly touching, smothering himself a bit.
