Geez what a messed up roller coaster of a life story.


"We left Belgium, and as a young artist and yoga teacher, [my father] was hired by the local mafia in a Belgian cabaret to transport five kilos of coke to the U.S.," he said. "He wanted to conquer America, so he did it when I was eight months old.

When he was four years old, he was even kidnapped in Mexico. Thankfully, after a couple of months his parents were reunited with their son.

 

No kidding. I have to be skeptical about him living in 50 different countries, but unusual and at times pretty ugly/tragic upbringing.

Like how much respect he gives Hocko. Paul Hodkinson was a peach of a fighter. Too bad his prime didn’t last longer. True warrior.

 

Kidnapping in Mexico is like buying a jar of peanut butter in America — it’s like the national pastime. Look up the statistics — it’s shocking.

Poor guy. Wife is lucky that he didn’t put hands on both of them. Imagine if that was Jake LaMotta in that situation.
