I made a post asking him to do that in this thread. Gave examples of fights floyd took, and based it on his reasonoing that certain fighters for Pac were considered cherrypicks. He hasn't said **** since. atsch
You should make a thread the Facade of JMM vs Manny. JMM had over 60 fights strictly between the weights of 125 and 130. when Manny fought him at 125 Pac only had 2 or 3 fights at 125. When Manny fought him at 130 he had only 5 or so fights at 130. So when they settle the score which is pointless and fight at 140 and above Manny will smoke him. JMM had the weight advantage 2x being at his best weight and still could not put Manny down or gain a decision from more than 2 of 6 judges. With the opp he fought his record and resume are top of the line. Nobody has come close 140 or above. Manny moves into the line of fire better than anybody in recent history
No proof because Texas doesn't require drug testing and a scheuduled **** tests aren't going to catch nobody.
so no proof. dude, i'm a manny fan, right off the bat. but without proof it's just bull****. it's just jealous talk. pac is brilliant, other fighter have moved up and done similar feats (barney ross, ray leonard, oscar, armstrong) but pac has the steroid talk following him cause some rando crackhead planted the idea. it's roger ****ing mayweather!!! he's a drugged up moron who'd be pissing himself behind the dumpster of a soup kitchen if his nephew wasn't floyd
He never said he was afraid moron, that was said by others. As for him lying, I'm sure you'll believe that, since all it took was the words of a crackhead to convince you he was on roids.
Everybody seems to forget Mannys accomplishments before moving up to weights that nobody thought he had a chance at just 3 years ago. But before moving up, he fought and beat legends. Wins over very good versions of Barrera, Morales, and Marquez does not equal cherrypicking. And on top of that he fought fighting each of them 2-3 times. Fighting Oscar and coming in as an underdog doesn not equal cherrypicker. A lot of people in boxing thought he would have a tough fight with Hatton, Cotto, Margarito, even Clottey aswell. So is Berto, with 27 fights to his name, the guy hes been dodging all this time? Or did Manny leave the lightweight division because he was dodging the other lightweight champ at the time, the unbeatable Nate Campbell? and he must have left the light welterweight division to avoid fighting Tim Bradley who was fresh off his wins over household names Edner Cherry and Kendall Holt... Yeah your right Manny is a career cherrypicker. :thumbsup
I think people forget that Manny fought at 126-130 in an era with 3 other great, great fighters (I think compares with the four great welters in the '80's), which goes to show how great he is...or how little most of the people on here know about boxing. Just joking, he sucks, resume, h2h...that article convinced me.
The thing is he put in a HoF legacy BEFORE going to 135 and beyond. To argue that his performances since have been anything less of ATG status is denial. How high he is on that list is subjective. If you're a ******* it will be likely top 10. If you can't don't rate him anywhere in the pantheon of ATG's then your standards are too high or you hate him a lot. All you can do is look at the evidence - and that shows a guy who has constantly surprised and over-acheived at the highest level of any fighter in the past ten years. Would he beat prime Armstrong, Duran, Chavez, Leonard, etc etc etc? Maybe not. Does he deserve to be mentioned somewhere among the list of those great names? Undoubtedly.
