Pretty much everything else to Sweet Pea, although admittedly I haven't really looked at your categories.

 

Whitaker..maybe he concedes hand and foot speed...and power to Mayweather, but he OVERLY compensates in all other areas to such an extent that I think he would win h2h. The Pea excelled in ring intelligence and of course, defense...he was more creative and imaginitive...smarter than Mayweather....these would be his trump cards that would carry him through to a decision victory.

One puzzling thing tho...if whittakers defence was so good why does he talk like that now?

I always thought Whitaker was the better fighter of the two. He goes down as greater on the ATG list because he fought everyone.

Floyd has better handspeed for single shots, Pea has better handspeed for combinations. Other than that, I give the edge to Whitaker on pretty much everything here. Just a higher-class fighter all-round. Mayweather makes it close in some categories though (footwork, athletic ability, etc). Not sure I say with any conviction that either man had better power. The lw Pea hit a lot harder than the ww Pea I think, and the sfw Floyd hit harder than the ww Floyd. Taking both at their best weights, I don't see a big difference, though maybe Floyd carried his power up the weights a little better.

Jab-Whitaker A+++ jab. Used it more and was more effective than Floyd
Right/ Left hand Floyd. Very quick with deceptive power. Timing is impeccable
Left/ Right hook-Even. Whitaker puts his together better, but Floyd's has more pop
Body punching- Whitaker. Floyd has his jab to the body, but he doesn't commit enough
1 punch power- Floyd..Him being a bit bigger and stronger is a factor, but his have more pop.
Combinations- Whitaker. Put them together faster although less powerful.
Counter punching- Floyd. Impeccable timing and brilliant understanding of range.
Ring generalship-Sweet Pea. You always fight Sweet Pea's fight...always.
Footwork- Floyd. His movements are a bit more subtle than Sweet Pea's style of movement, but he's never out of position to counter.
Defence-Even. Both were defensive wizrds and ATGs
Infighting-Mayweather. Stronger and more compact on the inside. His elbow/forearm push off is pure class.
Hand speed-Even,,I'd give Sweet Pea a slight edge as he puts them together better.
Chin/ Durability-Floyd. Has taken some hard shots pretty well. Hasn't been down because of a punch yet.
Athletic ability-Pea..The combination of hand speed and movement give him the edge
Heart/ Mental strength- Tie
Quality of opponents faced-Whitaker slightly.

 

I like much of your list Southpaw but disagree on a few things... Pea faced slightly better competition? Come now, I wouldn't say the word slightly is even close to describing it.. I would choose the word clearly. Next in fighting... I think Pea has the clear edge there...Pea says in the pocket and moves out of the way and counters with superb accuracy. Floyd doesn't say in the pocket very much and usually backs away when he's in the pocket to get his favored distance. I really don't know how this is even close let alone Floyd having the edge. Lastly, a way past his prime.. messed up on drugs Pea... took huge shots from an all-time great puncher and primed Tito.. That is far and away superior to anything Floyd has even faced let alone taken. Besides that I agree.
