Granted he's like 5" taller than Rodríguez, who looks like a lard sculpture at 244, but...

 

25lb of that is beard.

Is this brotha ****ing Amish? His entire pro career just been one long ass Rumspringa?

 

Round 1

Lots of posing, arms swinging by their sides. Rodríguez paws up top with a double jab, tickling Rock's bristly Lincoln beard or just missing. 1-1-2 by Rock hitting Rodríguez on the crown and then back of the neck as he dives in (or rather belly flops). Stiff jab on the guy by Rock and Rodríguez smirks no.

Round 2

Rodríguez puts up a chugging ski-lift jab and flails as high as he can with a right, headhunting but missing by a foot. Rock is countering with uppercut flurries to Rodríguez's chin in close, stunning him, and single uppercuts or skewering straight rights on the protruding gut at range, making Rodríguez wince and suck wind. Rodríguez lands a jab and right haymaker before the bell and Rock is rocked momentarily but grins.

Round 3

Rock is gassed. Creampuff jabs, four and five at a time from Rock, just oscillating on the face of Rodríguez. Rock lacks legs to get outside and is too tired to lift his arms up so Rodríguez is actually blasting him with point blank telegraphed haymakers. Rodríguez pauses at various points to a) close one nostril shut and blow snot rockets, b) shake out a fat cankle that fell asleep, and c) fish his loose gum shield from his own kouth and pop it back in upside down, only for the ref to call time to have it properly replaced

Round 4

A couple of thunping body shots by Rock, quivering the gut. Rodríguez goes down. He tries hoisting himself up but to no avail.

People in the Facebook comments (as well as the Fightnight commentators) saying they believe Rock can be really good if he starts coming in 40lb lighter and that he "is only 22 and years from even coming into his prime and has great skills already!" ... Ehhhhhhh...

 

I mean ...if they mean he moves like the oldest version of James Toney (who techbicallu fought at middle once upon a time) ever seen in the ring, then...uh, maybe.
