Damn when you put it like that it sounds kind of bad. Im a Canelo fan and Im going for him aganist GGG but I do feel like the Lara fight was his closest fight to date.

He might be trolling just a tad but you cant deny this guys point of view.

 

GGG doesn't fight like those guys much the same that Canelo doesn't fight like Jacobs, so...

 

Lara ran too much. If Lara would have won that last round he would have won the fight. But his corner seems to have told him that the fight was in the bag. This is in contrast to what happened to Meldrick Taylor where his corner maybe should have told him to dance in that last round. Which goes to show how following bad advice can screw a person up both in the ring and in life in general. The Trout fight is far more controversial. IMHO

 

I'm not sure that Chavez being drained was his real problem. He claims to have felt weak but when he let go his fists he didn't appear in need of energy. In fact, he usually stopped those attempts after getting countered and sometimes voluntarily. Seems to me as if his problem was that he was stylistically outclassed or else was in the bag.

As for Kirkland being shot-that could have been said of any fighter who gets suddenly knocked out. Archie Moore got knocked out seven times! Each time he came back and began putting up a winning streak again. Each time someone could have said that he was shot or had a glass jaw.
