To all you stupid haters and doubters: STFU and get it through your thick skulls that Zab and Carlos were the top Welterweights when Money fought them.

Margarito was rated behind them and had never even been on HBO. Miguel Cotto wasn't even a ****ing welterweight and was just about to pick up a vacant WW title (what else is new) on Showtime that was vacated by guess who? Mosley was up at JR Middle at the time, the same year he turned down a Money fight because of a tooth ache after Money had been calling him out for years.

After all this, Money moves up to 154 to make the richest fight in boxing history, he wins a title against the best 154lber weighing the same as Pacquiao did for his fight at 140. Do you want to hate on him for that as well you dumb shits?

Now let's move onto Ricky Hatton. For those of you who started watching boxing in 2009 or did'nt follow Money back in the day, Tzyu vs Mayweather was like Mayweather vs Pacquiao, the fans were asking for it. When Hatton beat Tzyu you would always hear Mayweather vs Hatton all over the press. I lost count on how many people were saying that Hatton was the one to beat Mayweather. I even thought Hatton may actually pose a challenge. It was a rich fight and one that a **** load of people were asking for. Hatton was the WBA Welterweight champ the year before and he was bigger than Money. Money always used to come in below 150 for his WW fights while Hatton would re-hydrate 10+ pounds for his 140 fights.

He then retires for a year and a half because his hands are so ****ed that some of us are lucky and should be thanking the Gods above that he even still fights. Keep on hating you ******s. It's all good though cause I was following Money while all this drama was going down. Some of you who watched boxing back then either know this but are too much of a hater, or didn't even care for Money. I know some of you P(ac)EDtards out there started watching boxing in general because of PacGwire beginning in 2008 or 2009. If that's the case then STFU about the past that you dont know **** about and look towards the future because on May 2nd Money is going to have the #1 WW and P4P #3 fighter in the world on his winning resume. Book it!

Ring Mag had in January of 2006:

    1. Margarito
    2. Judah
    3. Spinks
    4. Mosley
    5. Collazo

Baldomir won the lineage title by beating Zab Judah who had seemingly wasted an opportunity to fight Floyd, but still got the shot after he clearly lost to Baldomir.

Like Mayweather himself say, "belts dont make me" and belts surely didn't make Baldomir the best welterweight at the time. Both Margarito and Mosley had more legitimate wins than that Baldomir held over Gatti and Judah.

Fact. Floyd doesnt like fighting guys with losses on their record, he said so.
    Fact. Baldomir had 9 losses.
Fact. Judah was coming off a loss against a guy with 9 losses.

now now, dont be silly. Floyd did not by any means beat "the best" at 147.

The guys everyone considered the best at 147 at the time was Cotto & Margo. I know cos I was in these forums around that time and all the talk was about Floyd-Margo/Cotto. Nobody asked for Floyd-Baldomir, nobody thought he was fighting the best...thats just silly.

    Good post.

And  @ "Margarito had never even been on HBO." HBO televised Margarito's fights against Lewis, Kyvelos, and Santos (rematch).

Two Floyd threads in a row. Do you have orgasm every time? Floydettes like their idol are so insecure of Pacman.
