Fact is, Grant was a great foe for Adamek in '10, but Grant is no V. Klitschko...

Folks,

I'm getting pumped and psyched for this Sat. nights fight between Vitali Klitschko and Tomasz Adamek on HBO... I'll be ringside in front of the boob-tube with a tape in the VCR waiting to record at 5 bells EST this Sat. I believe HBO goes live via satellite at 4:45 p.m.

Anyway, I PPV'd last years fight between Tomasz Adamek and Michael Grant and I was not disappointed at all... In fact, I was rooting for Grant, however, it became obvious to the naked eye that while he does train and appears to own good conditioning, he is not a true fighter in a mental sense... Grant is an imposing man in the ring cuz of his height and size, but he sometimes lolly-gags and poses instead of punching and attacking...

Now, as for WBC champion V.K., well, he is a fighter with underrated skills and he owns the killer instinct to close the show... Tomasz Adamek has his work cut out... It's really a no brainer that the smaller Adamek will seek to stick, move, box, hold and run against the much bigger and imposing Vitali Klitschko, but it will not be enough to take the title from the hulking champion... It is possible that Tomasz Adamek catches on early that V.K. is too good and strong and forces the challenger to simply goes into survival mode... Either way, Vitali Klitschko either gets a later round TKO or a clear-cut decision win over a tuff, but over-match Tomasz Adamek...

I don't know about that notion of Adamek improving since the win over Grant last year........ Adamek went 12 rds with has-been Kevin McBride earlier this year.... Adamek won, as figured, but was he really improved???

Adamek's heart, soul and pride is on the line here...... BUT! The K-Bros. have ways of making opponents swallow their pride and do what they must do to survive..... Adamek is very mobile... He will have his track shoes on at the opening bell... No way in hell Adamek stands his ground for any more than spurts / moments at a time.... Adamek will move, and Klit with seek and find....

The late 1990s Grant who wasted Jose L. Gonzo and came back to force Golota to quit had great potential.... Too bad he was tossed to the lion (Lewis) in 2000 and basically ruined him mentally....

Adamek did KO Golota inside 5 rds in impressive fashion, but Golota was shot to hell in 2009........ So therefore, I totally discount that KO as legit...... Golota was not only shot when he was waxed by Adamek, but also at a career high 257 + or - pounds.....
