Fact is: nobody under 6'5 will ever be the true HW champ ever again

Think about it: since the 90s no true HW champ has been under 6'5

    Lewis
    Vitali
    Wlad
    Fury

Face the facts everyone, a small guy cannot beat a heavily talented tall fighter. In 20 years you haven't seen one guy under 6'5 become the true champion.

What do you mean by "true"?

And it does seem a bit like there maybe should be a super-heavy division - as soon as you're over 90kg you're in with monsters. Povetkin and Parker are really probably the only sub 6ft 5 heavyweight guys I consider in with any kind of chance.

Neither Fury or Vitali are REAL HW champions. Only Lewis and Wladimir fit that bill.

And it is no coincidence that both Lewis and Wladimir were trained by Steward. He is the only one who can groom these giants into the monsters that they are. Now that he's sadly gone, there'll probably be a more diverse boxing landscape.

Think about it, in the last 10 years, few of the best HWs were 6'5'' or above. Pulev, Povetkin, Haye, Jennings, Peter, Ibragimov, Chagaev, Byrd etc. etc.

Only Thompson, Fury and Wilder are true giants, the first one is nothing special, and the other 2 are very overrated.

And Holyfield was a true champion. Just as much as Lewis.

Fury is not a real champion? He just beat THE guy? He's the releast of the real.

Fury has just as much right to be the real champ as Wlad, after all he just whooped him. Comments like that are just pathetic

Absolutely, he's not ATG though if that's what you're saying.

    :lol::lol::lol:

The guy considers Fury a "true" champion alongside Lennox Lewis and the Klitschkos, yet he discounts Holyfield, and guys like Rahman and Moorer as well as Sanders and Brewster who did the same damn thing as him. Stop.

Rahman was THE champion until the Lewis rematch. Just as Fury is THE champion right now.

The gist of my argument somehow eludes you.

On what basis is Fury a TRUE champion, while Rahman, Moorer, Holyfield, Bowe etc. are not?

I am not arguing that those were not true Champions. Only the part where you said Fury isn't a true Champion. He is because he beat the man.

I'm only arguing the OPs definition.
