Cortez did not keep Hatton from fighting on the inside. FLOYD did. When Hatton tried to come in using head movement, Floyd clocked him with a hook. When Hatton tried to come in with his jab Floyd clocked him with a straight right hand. When Hatton DID get close enough to fight on the inside, Floyd initiated clinches - FORCING THE REFEREES HAND.

CLINCHES are supposed to be broken up. In Hatton's previous fights, SOME referees have allowed him to fight IN A CLINCH but this is ILLEGAL in boxing.

Floyd's game plan was perfect for dealing with Hatton. Hatton's was ****. Thats why Hatton lost the fight, he believed the hype, that all Floyd does is 'run', and that he's afraid to fight rough. Someone should have watched some tape before someone acted like a complete idiot in front of thousands of fans who flew all the way from the United Kingdom just to see someone fight.

I am the idiot and Cortez didn't break the fighters up too much in the first few rounds? When you and the pimp crawl out of Mayweathers ass, watch the fight again. The fight was ruined because Cortez acted as if he needed to help Floyd for some reason. Almost any ref (except Nady) would have been better for that fight.

Roy or LL never broke people down on the inside...Floyd has.... Your point is. I guess Floyd wearing him down with body shots and going to the body made Hatton feel good huh. Ridiculous. Floyd does not have on punch power, he breaks guys down to the body and gets them out of there. Floyd ALWAYS fights on the inside majority of his fights except a few. Your point is. You are a funny mofo.
