not sure what is so funny..

both corraless and hatton were undefeated

oscar just had arguebaly his most impressive win (mayorga)

castillo was no doubt in his prime for both floyd fights..

hell even judah went on to give cotto a hell of a fight at MSG

I'll give you Marquez.. but only because he moved up in weight.. he was in no way shape or form on the decline..

You don't get it, in ******* logic Hatton was a feeble old man, so was Oscar, and then when Pacquiao fought them they miraculously found a way to go back in time and become prime fighters for that one fight.

i like pac as much as the next but really... He may looked more impressive but he didn't fight as many peak prime guys as floyd did.

Hold Pacquiao's record up to the same scrutiny as Mayweather's and both crack out the same if not a little worse for Pacquiao since Mayweather had beaten a few of the guys Pacquiao had fought.

Mayweather fought Gernaro Hernandez(#1 at 130), Angel Manfredy(#3 at 130), a slew of 4-12 ranked guys at 130, Diego Corralles(#1 contender for his belt at 130), Jose Luis Castillo twice (#1 at 135), DeMarcus Corely in a title eliminator at 140, Arturo Gatti (#3 at 140), Zab Judah(#2 at 147), Carlos Baldomir(Lineal Champion at 147), Oscar De La Hoya(#1 at 154), Ricky Hatton(#1 at 140, and #3 at 147), Juan Manuel Marquez(#2 P4P), and this isn't including some of the other names like Jesus Chavez who is a 5-10 fighter in any division between 140-130.

So if Mayweather has been ducking he has been doing a pretty shitty job.

Seems like a sensible statement. I'm not sure what everyone's problem is with it. Apparently the title of the thread has already been proven false. It's quite debatable. Floyd has fought the slightly better opposition. Not only is it debatable, but it's factual. Now, don't act like someone just slapped your mom when they say it either. Accept it.

Currently, yes. Pac will have fought 2 natural welterweights come March 13 that Mayweather has not fought since fighting his first welterweight fight November 2005, 4 years and 2 months ago, included that a conveniently timed fake retirement in between.

So Hatton wasn't at his peak when he fought Mayweather?
