AP had it for Hopkins, judges a Calzaghe SD...its in the books.

 

I scored it 6-4-2 for Joe. The rounds were damn close though so I wont bash anyone for feeling that Hopkins won a close decision or that it was a draw for that matter.

Yes Hopkins won that fight by holding,pushing and generally stinking up the whole place.
If there was ever a fight that Hopkins didnt get the decision on which he deserved it aint this one.He was a disgrace and deserved to loose unanimously by a wide margin.

No one can stink a place up like Hopkins.

Check out the commentary for ALI-Frazier 1 on youtube. You'll notice he says : When scoring, remember a lot of clinches counts against the guy who initiates them. So Hopkins deserved to lose wide. Check out how Andrade even got 3-4 rounds against Bute on the scorecards even though no one else saw him winning more than 2? Because Bute held on for dear life, true Hopkins style, though nowhere near as desperately as B-hop man-handled Calzaghe.

Clubfighters get DQ'd for holding as much as Hopclinch did.

BTW I had it wide for JC even without the holding.
