Fact: Winky turned down $6-8million to fight Oscar in 2005

    dumbass. he shouldn't have worried about that payday, especially if it was his highest ever. he would've beaten dlh. that would be the greatest resume among current boxers. 2 wins over mosley, 1 win over tito, and 1 win over dlh. he could made 5 million with jt and beaten him in rematch as well. that would have been a hell of a legacy.

    Thing is i think Winky would have beaten Oscar styles make fights and if had beaten Oscar he would have made bigger money and his career would have gone down a different path...Shame.

    It's part and parcel id business, its easy to criticise In retrospect. If he felt Oscar was offering more to others and felt he was worth more then fair play to him. He stood by his decision. I'm sure these things happen all the time, no one could have guessed it would have been his biggest pay day. Oh well

    There was plenty of reports back then that specified the 6 million offer from DLH and WInky turned it down.

    Yet there were plenty idiots claiming DLH was the one doing the ducking:-(
