Facts about Cintron and Feliciano

Hey attention *****....sure, it's your thread. But I wasn't specifically talking about you, although you do seem to fit my description. Please continue to show your ignorance and lack of understanding of boxing, and especially logic and rationale. Makes for entertainment at the very least.:thumbsup

 

Why would I want my post # up? It's just a ****in #. Means nothing to me. Does having a high post count impress you or something? If that's what you brought up, must be what you believe right?

I didn't see this fight, but I've never been big on Cintron. There are 3 things that bother me about him; one, he didn't start boxing until he was like 18; two, Emmanuel Steward is his trainer; three, he seems to lack mental fortitude. I watched the fight with Margarito, he got hit with some good shots, but it seemed as though he got extremely discouraged in that fight. Once he realized he couldn't hurt Margarito he fell apart, and wilted under the pressure applied by Margarito.

Cintron kind of reminds me of Michael Grant. Both are big guys with good power who received alot of hype by beating B and C level guys. Coincidently, both grew up right outside of the Philadelphia area. Both were also completely dismantled when they got their first title shot. Grant never recovered from that ass whoopin he got from Lewis. Hopefully, Cintron can prove me wrong and turn in a solid career.

For a boxing board, there's mostly **** talk from people who seem to have just learned about boxing, or are too immature and ignorant to make an intelligent post NOT done out of anger or hatred.

I'm on no one's sack, certainly not Cintron's. I am aware of his abilities and I don't see Cintron as the best, or even a top 5 WW. Sorry to blow your bubble about me.

After watching the fight, I have to admit Cintron is not what he's cracked up to be. If Feliciano could actually punch instead of those weird powerless thumb hooks he threw, he would have stopped Cintron. Feliciano had no defense whatsoever. The left hand being low I can live with that, right hands are quite easy to see coming. But he didn't even keep his right hand up, he had no defense for a left hook. All Cintron had to do was box backwards, Feliciano would have walked into his hook all night long.

 

do you realize, cintron landed 14 unanswered shots, most of them power punches? the ref stepped in because it was necessary. even feliciano agreed at the time, but as most fighters do, said it was early later on.
