You say "Lennox only beat Vitali on a doctors decision"? That not true that doctor probably saved Vitali's eye. If that fight had continued that may well have been the outcome. No one wanted that. At least that doctor did his job, I wish he's been the NY doc for Cotto/Margarito 2. That man knew Margarito couldn't see out of that eye from early in round 2 but didn't think about stopping the fight earlier he decided to stop the fight when Cotto started to wilt AGAIN!! & Margarito was beating his chest at him saying "C'mon". EIGHT ROUNDS later. Cotto was set to QUIT AGAIN !!!! that's why that fight was stopped . Margarito, as we saw against Steroid Shane & Pacman, does not know the meaning of the word QUIT!!!!! but Cotto did

"that doctor probably saved Vitali's eye"

MMA is far more liberal with cuts and we don't see fighters going blind on cuts. No one is providing examples of this actually happening, even from generations ago when medical science was far more primitive.

Perhaps wars where hundreds of headshots are landed should not be permitted, on the grounds that fighters involved will probably get brain damage. Perhaps boxing should be banned because sometimes people die from fights. It's a brutal sport and if a fighter is willing to take the risks, can fight effectively and the spectators want to see it (which they certainly do), I think it should go on. Boxing inherently sacrifices health and imposes risk in exchange for the rush of fighting, huge amounts of money and status/legacy.

Well my friend I guess we willl have to agree to disagree on this . Those cuts above & below Vitali's eye would only have worsened had the doctor not stopped the fight when he did there would soon not be anything to hold his eye in. I wish the doctor in my friend Antonio Margarito's fight with Pacquaio had have stopped the fight & not allowed Tony to continue because his eye was permanently damaged in that fight. Antonio didn't know the meaning of the word QUIT!!

Completely different injury, I'm still waiting for the cut-related blindness examples. Maybe Frazier and Ali should have been stopped a few rounds in because too many headshots were being landed, with the decision given to whoever won the last round of the 6 round fight.

He is the same garbage person as his brother. But people tend to forget those Ukrainians are probably the greatest cheaters in the history of boxing and insist that Fury didn't give a rematch to Wlad.

Vitali lost to Lennox not in the best way especially due to the fact he was leading on points. But a legit loss. It's his fault he chose to keep WBC while giving the rest to his brother, thus limiting the quality of his opposition.

Lennox was most probably going to lose via KO if not for the stoppage. He knew it and there is a reason for not giving Vitali a rematch, but whatever.
