Willie Pep winning a round against Jackie Graves without throwing a punch. A researcher checked the newspaper accounts and it said that round was filled with two-way action.

The term "Pound for Pound" being invented for Sugar Ray Robinson. Not true. Bob Fitzsimmons and Tony Canzoneri were two fighters before Ray that were called the best "pound for pound".

I don't know about Muhammad Ali saying "No Vietcong ever called me ni**er". Thomas Hauser, who wrote one of the definitive biographies on Ali, has obviously done a lot of research on him and he says he could never verify that he actually said this.

Larry Holmes has a a bar fight record of 40- 0 in Easton PA ..He breifely talked about it on the Michael K show in NY .Not sure of the record but it is up there .

 

THis cant be true^^... You really think you can find 40 people in Easton to even think about challenging him to a fight? Even at 60 i dont see to many people wanting to try.
