Fact: Gerald McClellan and Thomas Hearns were both from the same boxing stable, Kronk Boxing Gym run by Emanuel Steward. Emanuel Steward had McClellan sparring against Thomas when he was 16 years old. So they both knew each other well. G-man has even said he looked up to the hit man before he was injured. Once Gerald got good to challenge for a title and started knocking people out it surprised Steward who said he wished he had more time to develop Gerald when he was a younger. Emanuel had other fighters like Micheal Moorer who was undefeated who he paid more attention to. Steward now states that Gerald could have been an all time great if he was given more help.

:yep This is mentioned in a book I read about him but there are mixed accounts. It was outside Panama & Duran had knocked the home favourite down for the count & this guys wife, who had been screaming all through the fight came storming into the ring. Someone in Duran's corner said that he just pushed her. A U.S journalist said that Duran turned around & starched her with a better shot than the one he landed on her husband! Whatever happened there was a riot, Duran & his guys had to fight their way through the crowd to the dressing room.

talk for 5 minutes and you cant understand a sentence of it?".

Ali upstaged? Ali was on a plane when a stewardess asked him to fasten

British fighter Nel Tarleton was known to go the distance in many of
