Say a top 10 fighter in any weight class takes a tune up bout with someone thats ranked around 60-80 and its a close fight. Can the lower ranked fighter actually move up in ranking for having a close fight with a top 10 fighter, even though he lost? Also can the opposite happen? Can a top 10 fighter drop in rankings because he barly won a SD over a fighter ranked so far down?

i guess its possible for the competitive guy to rise but for the top 10 guy to fall I doubt it unless the guy is like 10 or 9 but like 1-5 to outside the top 10 doesnt seem possible for winning
